I’ll be honest when I first came to this bistro I was alittle disappointed in what the offered on the menu. Wasn’t as big is i would’ve liked it. But the food that they had was delicious! Everything was quite fresh and very good atmosphere. It makes much more sense that they would offer lighter food because of the spa. So bringing that into consideration I will gladly give them 5 stars because they are offering exactly what they should be in a place like that! Just make sure to put your name down and hope in the pool or sit by the fire while you wait to be called ;)

It is a nice restaurant, the food, service and ambiance are very good, however, the pricing leaves you feeling like airport restaurants. They know you have nowhere else to go as you are unable to leave the spa and come back. Therefore it gets pretty busy, recommend getting on waiting list 30 mins before you are hungry just in case. That being said it is pretty cool being able to dine in spa robes - but bang for buck lacking. Don’t miss the chocolate cake!

Visited this beautiful bistro during our hydrotherapy spa session at Kananaskis. It is conveniently located inside the spa so you don’t have to change your clothing. The food was okay but service was slow. I asked for salt n pepper to cut the sweetness of the teriyaki salmon rice bowl I ordered but it never came and this was after waiting so long to find a server to inform. To be fair, we went in about 30 minutes before their last seating so may be it go extra busy. Also had to go find someone to get n pay the bill. Overall, we felt we could have done without the food as it took too much time away from our twilight spa time.

A group of friends and I went to the Nordic Spa in January and had lunch halfway through our day at the Two Trees Bistro. I have been to the Nordic Spa about eight times, and every time I've wanted to try the Bistro, but never felt hungry or compelled enough to go in. We went on a Monday, and the spa itself wasn't overly busy, but the inside of the Bistro was pretty full. The furniture was comfortable, staff was friendly, and background music was exactly what you would think would be playing at a spa--think a non-scary "Tubular Bells". We tried to order a number of the drink items on the menu, but there were quite a few things that "they were out of". So clearly the menu needed to be reprinted. I think there was only one food menu item they didn't have. The food arrived quickly, we didn't feel pressured at all to be quick or leave. We tried the cheeseboard and meat charcuterie, and one of the desserts. A friend tried the Croque Nordic, and I had the Chicken Panini. The food was pretty great, but a little pricey for what they offered. Really, it was a good experience, and something I was happy to try once. But not something I would likely do again. The bar in the actual hotel has really great food for quite reasonable prices and would urge you to consider doing a day at the spa and capping it off with a burger (and banana bread pudding) at the bar.
